Biography of Robert Hardy

Robert Hardy matriculated at the University in 1823, and became Professor of Logic and Rhetoric in Anderson's College in 1834. He was awarded LLD on 10 November 1837.

He was the second son of John, a farmer in Hawick, Roxburghshire.

Hardy served as minister of St Clement's church at Berbice, Demerara, modern day Guyana. He died 17 days before he was granted the LLD degree by Glasgow on 24 October 1837.
