Biography of Charles Johnstone Taylor
Charles Johnstone Taylor matriculated at the University in 1842. He was the fourth son of Robert, a merchant in Jamaica.
Taylor graduated BA from Cambridge in 1849, and MA in 1852. He was a fellow of Clare College, Cambridge in 1854, and assistant professor of Humanity there in 1859.
