Biography of Adam Thomson
Adam Thomson matriculated at the University in 1839. He was the eighth son of John of Paisley.
Thomson was ordained in 1850 and became missionary and United Presbyterian minister at Montego Bay, Jamaica from 1850 to 1897. He was also theological tutor at modern day Cornwall College from 1868 to 1876. He died there on 9 December 1897, aged 77.
