Biography of John Campbell
John Campbell matriculated at the University in 1833. He was the youngest son of John, a miller of Glasgow.
Campbell served as a Secession and United Presbyterian minister and missionary at Goshen, Jamaica from 1846 to 1849. He was then Minister at Lucea, Jamaica from 1849 until 1871 and again from 1873 to 1876.
Campbell died at 37 Gillespie Crescent, Edinburgh, on 10 February 1882, aged 62.
