Biography of William Reid
William Reid matriculated at the University of Glasgow in 1828. He was born at Paisley in 1811, the only son of Robert, a merchant of Renfrew.
Reid served as minister of Borgue, Kirkcudbright, from 1843 until 1858. He died at Huntly, Mandeville, Jamaica, on 25 October 1866.
