Biography of Emmy Abée
Emmy Abée matriculated in the University in 1911. She studied English Literature and Language for one year. During her time in Glasgow, Abée lived in the care of John Edgar McFadyen, Professor of Old Testament Language, Literature and Theology in the United Free Church College, Glasgow, in his home at 4 Bruce Road, Pollokshields.
Abée was born in Witten, Germany, in 1891, daughter of Viktor, a teacher.
