Biography of Abdul Rahim

Abdul Rahim graduated BSc from the University in 1916. He was born at Srinagar, India, son of Abdul Aziz, a government telegraph master.

Rahim enrolled at the University in 1911, aged 16, giving his hometown as Uddingston. He studied the standard Engineering curriculum, taking classes in Maths, Natural Philosophy, as well as a physical laboratory class in his first year. In his second he took classes in Chemistry, drawing, and a further laboratory class.

Rahmin returned to India where he was employed as an engineer for the Public Works Department at Karpurthala.
