Biography of Samuel Nesbit Wiley

Samuel Nesbit Wiley matriculated at the University in 1809. He was the third son of James, a farmer in Aghabog, County Monaghan, Ireland.

Wiley obtained a Licentiate of the Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (LFPSG) in 1811. He joined the Army as an army hospital assistant in 1812, becoming assistant surgeon in 1815. He died in Jamaica on 25 November 1824.
