John Bell's Matriculation Slip 1912-13
John Bell graduated from the University MA 1914. He was born on 27th October 1893 in Wishaw, and was the son of John Bell whose occupation was a tailor.
John attended the University of Glasgow from 1911-14 and he studied subjects such as Roman Law, Constitutional Law and History. He received a first class certificate in higher ordinary Mathematics, a second class certificate in Civil and Roman Law as well as a certificate in Constitutional Law and History.
After John graduated on 20th April 1914 he became a Commercial Assistant, and the General Council Register records John’s address as Bombay, India.
