Biography of George Nisbett
George Nisbett matriculated at the University of Glasgow in 1781, taking a class in Latin. He was the second son of George of Cairnhill, in the parish of Monkland, Lanark.
Nisbett went to Jamaica. He died there at Westmoreland on 30 November 1811.
