Biography of William Cairo Lockhart
William Cairo Lockhart matriculated at the University in 1813, following his brother John Lockhart who had matriculated in 1808.
He was born in Malta, son of William, a magistrate in the British government at Malta.
Lockhart became Lieutenant in the 8th Madras Cavalry. He died at Ascot on 7 August 1821.
