Biography of William Goold
William Goold matriculated at the University in 1789 to study Arts. He was born in Glasgow, the eldest son of William, a musician.
According to Addison, he became Lieutenant William Goold of the 5th West India Regiment. He died at Belize in the Bay of Honduras on 11 May 1801.
