Biography of William Kirkpatrick
William Kirkpatrick enrolled at the University in 1910, aged 19, to study an Arts course. He was born on 14 August 1891 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, son of Thomas, an electrician.
Kirkpatrick attended the University for two years, taking classes in Ordinary Latin, Mathematics, and English. He returned to the United States in May 1912, where he subsequently became a minister of the Roman Catholic Church and taught at the Corpus Christi High School in Galesburg, Illinois.
