Agnes Drennan Brackenridge graduated MA from the University in 1920.

She was born at Maybole, Ayrshire, daughter of Gilbert, a grocer.

Brackenridge first enrolled at the University in 1917, taking classes in French and History. In her second year, she continued to study History (higher), and also took classes in Political Economy and Geology, for which she was awarded a Second Class Prize Certificate. In her final year, she took classes in English and Moral Philosophy.

After graduating MA on 23 June 1920, Brackenridge went on to become a teacher in her native town of Maybole.
