Biography of Iancu Victor

Iancu Victor graduated BSc from the University in 1954. He was born in Galati, Romania in 1928, son of Aron, a shipowner.

Victor had previously studied at Haifa Reali high school and at Skerry's College in Glasgow, a school that prepared candidates for Civil Service examinations, before enrolling at the University of Glasgow in 1948. Throughout his five years of studying Naval Architecture, he described his nationality as being Palestinian, Israeli, and British. Victor graduated in 1954 with a BSc in Naval Architecture.
