Biography of Edith Josephine Donnelly
Edith Josephine Donnelly graduated MA from the University in 1914. She was born in Dalkey near Dublin in 1891, daughter of Patrick, a roll-marker.
Donnelly enrolled at the University in 1910, where she studied French, Mathematics and History, specialising in English. She graduated with honours on 21 November 1914.
After graduating she became a teacher in Barrhead, a town south west of Glasgow.
