Biography of Panaiotis Inglessis
Panaiotis Inglessis enrolled at the Universtiy in 1920 for three years to study Science and Engineering. He was a Romanian of Greek origin from the port of Braila, Romania. The Inglessis family was one of the most important Greek families established in the region during the 19th and early 20th centuries and they were associated with cereal trade and ship building - his father, Nicolas, was a cereal exporter.
Inglessis enrolled at the University in 1920, and over the course of three years, he took classes in Mathematics, Natural Philosophy, Laboratory, Chemistry, Naval Architecture, Drawing, and Engineering.
