Biography of Mary Roe Riddall
Mary Roe Riddall was born in Turin, Italy around 1870 while her father, Reverned Walter Riddall, served as British Chaplain there.
Riddall enrolled at the University in 1892 to study Medicine the year that Queen Margaret College for Women became part of the University, enabling women to obtain the same degree as men. Whilst at the University she took classes ranging from Anatomy to Practical Pharmacy and won three Second-Class Certificates in Physiology, Surgery and Materia Medica and Therapeutics.
