Biography of Reginald Ross Marshall
Reginald Ross Marshall attended the University for one year in 1909 to study Mercantile Law.
He was born in Belize, then British Honduras, around 1890, son of William Sime Marshall, a timber merchant. The family lived in Dollar, Clackmannanshire, where Marshall was educated.
Marshall served during WW1 as 2nd Lieutenant of The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.
During the 1920s, Marshall worked as an accountant at the First Trust Company of Hilo in Hawaii. He returned to the UK, obtaining a naturalisation certificate in 1935 while residing in Wallasey, Cheshire. He worked as Director and Secretary of W Watson and Company, Liverpool's Rolls Royce and Bentley Distributors.
