Biography of Ventura de Callejón y Carstens
Ventura de Callejón y Carstens matriculated at the University for two years in 1891, taking classes in Civil Engineering, Natural Philosophy, Mathematics and Astronomy.
He was born at Hamburg, Germany, son of Ventura de Callejón, the then Spanish Consul in Scotland, who was also known for being a catalyst in the commercialisation of table grapes from Almeria throughout the world.
