Biography of Harald Martin Sture Olsen

Harald Martin Sture Olsen studied at the University for three years between 1904 and 1907. His first year was spent studying Natural Philosophy, Systematic Chemistry and Mathematics. During his second two years he went on to study Naval Architecture under Professor John Harvard Biles.

Harald was 22 years old when he came from his hometown of Copenhagen to the University. His father, Christian Olsen, worked in the naval profession as a chief surveyor for Bureau Veritas in Denmark.
