Biography of Levic Aronovich Mekler

Levic Aronovich Mekler enrolled at the University in 1913 to study Science for two years. He was born in Tchernigov, Russia, modern day Chernihiv in norther Ukraine. His father, Aaron was a confectioner.

At the University, Mekler attended classes in Mathematics, Natural Philosophy, Chemistry, Physics Laboratory, and in 1914, took an Engineering course at the Royal Technical College (now Strathclyde University).
