Biography of Seved Ribbing
Seved Ribbing was one of two notable Swedes to be awarded an honorary LLD from the University of Glasgow on its ninth Jubilee in 1901, the other being Johan Henrik Emil Schück.
Ribbing was born in Lund, Sweden, and became a doctor before being appointed Professor of Medicine at Lund University (1888-1910) and elected Rector of the same university in 1904-07.
