Biography of Peter Berrie Sanderson

Peter Berrie Sanderson studied at the University of Glasgow under Daniel Sandford, Professor of Greek between 1821 and 1838.

Sanderson was born at Greenock on 3 March 1817, son of Robert, a merchant in Glasgow. He became a landed proprietor at Spexeryd, Jönköping, Sweden, where he died on 24 April 1868.
