Biography of Chi-Wang Yun

Yun Chi-Wang graduated MB ChB from the University in 1925.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, son of Military General Yun Ung-nyeol, Yun Chi-Wang (matriculated Tchi-Waang Yun) studied Medicine at the University of Glasgow from 1919-1925.

Upon graduation in 1925, Yun worked at the University Severance Hospital, the predecessor to Yonsei University Medical Center, before enrolling as a Medical Officer in the South Korean Army. He was ranked Lieutenant General upon his retirement from the Army.
