Biography of Charles Williams Windship
Charles Williams Windship graduated MD from the University in 1797. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and held an MA from Harvard (1793).
Among Windship's publications were An introductory discourse on the phenomena of vitality, or, laws of mobility and motion in animal bodies (1818) based on a paper which he delivered at the Exchange Coffee House, in 1817, at the request of Dr William Ingalls, Professor of Anatomy and Surgery at Harvard; and a Discourse on religion and doctrines delivered before the First Society of Free Enquirers, in Boston, November 15, 1829.
