Biography of Iain Macdonald Dewar Halliday

Iain Macdonald Dewar Halliday graduated BSc from the University in 1940. He was born in Iquique, Chile, son of Macdonald, a former manager of Nitrate Officinas.

Halliday enrolled at the University in 1836, attending classes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy, and Applied Chemistry, for which he won a second class certificate. He graduated BSc in Applied Chemistry on 28 June 1940, and had a career as a metallurgist.
