Biography of Isabella Lumsden

Isabella Lumsden graduated MB ChB from the University in 1922. She was born in Santiago, Chile, daughter of John, an export merchant.

Isabella enrolled at the University in 1916, giving her home town as London, England. During her medical studies, she was awarded several prizes, including first class certificates for Practical Pharmacy (1917-18) and Diseases of the Throat and Nose (1922).
