Biography of Ferdinand Friedenthal
Ferdinand Friedenthal enrolled at the University in 1908, aged 23. He was born around 1885 in Russia, son of John, an evangelist.
Friedenthal attended classes in Education, perhaps part of his MA course at the University of University of St Andrews, from where he graduated in 1907. Upon graduation, he worked as a teacher in Cowdenbeath.
Friedenthal later served as a Private in the Royal Army Service Corps during the First World War.
