Biography of Thomas Alexander Dempsey

Thomas Alexander Dempsey was born in Rio Tinto, Huelva, where his father, Alexander Williamson, was a manager of grocery and drapery stores during the mining boom. Dempsey came to the University to study Medicine during the summer session of 1920, aged 20, taking the courses of Botany and Physics.
