Biography of Thomas Coventry Wedderspoon

Thomas Coventry Wedderspoon attended an Arts courses at the University in 1843. He was born in Perth in 1825, son of William, a lawyer.

Wedderspoon established the company J & TC Wedderspoon, commission merchants, at Glasgow. As the company developed to Cross, Wedderspoon & Company, and then Cross & Company, Wedderspoon worked as a commission agent in Valparaíso and San Francisco.

Wedderspoon died at Ealing, on 18 February 1905.
