Biography of Young Wong
Young Wong graduated BSc from the University on 16 November 1911.
Wong was born in Suzhou (Soochow), Kiang Soo (Jiangsu) Province, son of S.K. Wong, a silk merchant and manufacturer.
Young first matriculated in 1907-08, aged 18, joining the Faculty of Science. During his fours years he signed up for classes and advanced classes in Mathematics, Natural Philosophy (Physics), Chemistry, Physical Laboratory, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering laboratory and drawing, and Political Economy.
