John Black Stevenson graduated with an MBChB from the University on the 21st of July 1903. After graduating he practiced medicine in India, where he was married in 1907. Upon the outbreak of war, Stevenson joined Royal Army Medical Corps. In 1917 he was awarded the Military Cross for "conspicuous gallantry". You can view his entry in the Roll of Honour here. After the war, Stevenson practiced and lived in Surrey. He died in Croydon, England, in 1958. Brother to William David Henderson Stevenson.
