Biography of Philippe Joseph Sellier
Philippe Joseph Sellier graduated BSc from the University in 1910.
He was born at San Fernando, Trinidad, son of Alphonse Louis, a merchant, and was one of three brothers to graduate from the University; brothers Charles Joseph and Numa Joseph graduating BSc in 1909 and 1911 respectively.
Graduating on 17 November 1910, Sellier went on to become a member of the Institute of Civil Engineers. He was awarded an OBE while working as Regional Opencast Director of the Ministry of Fuel and Power.
