Biography of Norman Cumming Rogers
Norman Cumming Rogers graduated MB ChB from the University in 1902. He was born in Valparaíso, son of John, a merchant and ship owner.
During his studies at Glasgow, Rogers worked at the Scottish National Red Cross Hospital during the South Africa War in 1900. After graduation in 1902, Rogers attended a further class in Bacteriology in 1903. He went on to work as a Physician at the Western Infirmary in Glasgow, and was resident assistant at the Glasgow Maternity Hospital. He later worked as a Medical Officer in Hornsey, England.
