Biography of George Nelson Turner
George Nelson Turner, Matriculation Slip 1888-89
George Nelson Turner was the oldest son of George Alexander Turner, and the grandson of George Turner LLD. Born in Samoa in 1868, Turner returned to Scotland for his education, enrolling at the University in 1887. He graduated MB CM in 1892.
Turner went on to work as a doctor in Glasgow, and was a member of the Glasgow Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society.
