Biography of James Rae
James Rae graduated MA from the University of Glasgow in 1882. He was born at Campbeltown, Kintyre.
Licensed by the Presbytery of Kintyre in 1885, Rae was appointed to St Vincent, Grenada in 1888. He went on to modern day Guyana, ministering at St James's, Essequibo in 1893, and at St Saviour's, Berbice in 1895.
In 1922 Rae returned to Scotland where he continued to Minister at North Yell, Shetland and Milton of Balgonie. Fife.
