One of the Physicians of the Dispensary at Edinburgh, and a litterateur of some reputation; Original Projector and Editor of Encyclopedia Edinensis, etc.; MD Edinburgh 1795; born at Ayr, 1762; died of fever at Edinburgh, July, 1827.
