Biography of Robert Albert Wood
Leading Aircraftman Robert Alfred Wood was a Short-Course Cadet at the University, before being posted to No 5 Flying Training School at Riddle McKay Aero College in Clewiston, Florida. Wood and another University Short-Course Cadet, George Henderson Wilson, were killed just two days before the end of their training course when when their advanced training plane crashed.
