This pair of mittens have a set-in thumb and there is evidence of band of fur or trim at the cuffs which is now entirely missing. The front face of each is embroidered with a curvilinear design in orange, blue and cream.

Maker: Unknown; First Nation, possibly Cree, in the East Woodlands/Great Lakes area of North America
